Hint: When sizing pipe and tube
fittings, measure the
diameter of the pipe or tubing, not the face of the fitting. When sizing tubing, the outside diameter of the tube wall indicates the size of the tube. Ex. 2.00" O.D. = 2" tube. When sizing piping, the outside diameter does not directly indicate the pipe size unless the pipe is greater than 12" in diameter. Want more help? |
